You’re invited to enjoy cocktails and desserts while looking ridiculously festive. There will be about a dozen of us and we will play a gift-giving game once everyone is feeling sufficiently merry. Photography is encouraged, and a prize will be given for the most heinous sweater.

What to Bring:

• A favorite beverage and/or dessert.

• An interesting gift that someone will be happy to go home with. Value needn’t exceed $20.

Ever since I began the Blue Rock House Concert series 5 years ago, I dreamed of hosting the band Luce, but it seemed like they were always on tour or recording. Now I’m thrilled to announce that they are scheduled to play for us! This performance celebrates the release of their 3rd CD.

What to Bring:

• $30 per attendee, (to pay the band)

• a blanket, towel, or lawn chair

• your picnic dinner

• friends (the more the merrier)

More Information:

• The band will play from 6-8 PM, with the usual 20-minute break.

• You will want to arrive between 5 and 5:30 PM so you can set up your picnic and socialize.

• The guest list is divided between several music and social groups, my personal friends, my gracious neighbors, and the band’s fans. There will be lots of great folks to mingle with. The venue’s capacity is 120 people.
